Overview

Each summer, we offer more than 50 camps/explorations that allow participants to discover and learn about various fields through hands-on laboratory, classroom, and field experiences.

Summer Youth Programs run from Sunday through Saturday from late June through the end of July. Please be aware of which courses are for middle and high school students according to the following criteria:

  • Middle School Explorations: Students completing 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in Spring 2018
  • Pre-College Explorations: Students completing 9th, 10th, and 11th grades in Spring 2018

Cost

The base cost for live-in explorations is $895. The base cost for commuter students is $495. Please see Tuition and Special Fees for more information.

Full Courses

Every year, we experience high demand for some of our courses. Explorations do have a maximum capacity, and sometimes fill as early as January. Classroom space is limited, especially in laboratories, and we strive for excellent instructor-to-student ratios to ensure quality experiences.

After registration opens, we will post a running list of full courses as they fill.

Available Courses

We process applications in the order that they are received with a deposit. We do our best to keep the numbers below current, however there may be unprocessed applications in our queue that are not yet reflected in the 'seats remaining' count below. You will receive confirmation of your enrollment after your application is received, with deposit, and processed. We will notify you if your selected exploration has filled.
